A Garden Home nonprofit spurred by Portland Golf Club's plans to "destroy" a wetland along Fanno Creek Trail is asking the club to work with the community to find a better solution.
More than $5 million was raised by the Friends of Hopewell House, after the facility closed in 2019.
The strike is set to start on Thursday, Feb. 2, at midnight if a deal can’t be reached.
They seek per-capita amounts, but Gov. Kotek says only, 'You will see resources that will help you' without a specific endorsement.
